Gravel Safety
At TGI we value the safety of our guests!
We share the gravel roads with many other users & we are all responsible for obeying the rules of the road & safe riding practices, including but not limited to:
– stopping at all stop signs
– keeping to the right so other road users can pass safely
– riding single file (no riding 2 or more abreast)
- increasing your visibility with blinky lights (front & back) and brightly coloured clothing
- making eye contact and waving at drivers passing by (common courtesy and making the assumption they don’t see you)
- leave no trace
- be self sufficient and prepared for the conditions
- expect the unexpected!
Resource Road Safety
A must see video for all gravel bikers and a great reminder that we are sharing the road with many others and need to be aware of our surroundings.
